In this episode, Janelle and I discuss one of the most "taboo" topics around-- the menstrual cycle!
We talk about:
- the feminine rhythms that live naturally within us and how our menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and postpartum periods relate to that
- we compare the phases of the menstrual cycle to the different seasons and how it can affect daily life
- We discuss the need to support women as a whole, and especially new moms during "the winter time" as that can often be very lonely and isolating.
-common apps to track your cycle including MyFlo and Clue
- ways to track your natural rhythms with the moon when you do not have a bleeding time such as during menopause, newly postpartum or on birth control
